Why Does Support Need This Information?
Our internal tools and logs prioritize the usernames from your linked VCS accounts to your CircleCI account. This means that to verify or change account information using these internal tools, Support needs to know a username instead of an email.
Where to Find Your BitBucket Username:
Go to your BitBucket personal account settings page
Find your username under Bitbucket Profile Settings > Username
Where to Find Your GitHub Username:
Log in to GitHub
Open the dropdown menu at the top right of the screen
See your username at the top of the list
