Sometimes you may encounter this error when running through the init command at the end of initializing the orb:

This just means that there is no user email set in git, as we use that for the "author" value of the orb.

You can address this issue by ensuring that your user.email is set globally in git. You can verify this by looking in your ~/.gitconfig file, and seeing if your email is set globally. If your email is not set globally, you can set it using this command:

git config --global user.email [email protected]
